Description
The ISHAN UDAY Special Scholarship Scheme for NER aims to promote higher education among students from the North Eastern Region. By providing financial assistance for tuition fees and maintenance, the scheme encourages students to pursue higher education without financial constraints. The scholarship covers a wide range of degree courses and includes specific reservations for differently-abled and transgender students.
Eligibility
- Students from North Eastern Region pursuing higher education.
- Enrolled in a recognized higher education institution.
- Family income should not exceed Rs. 4.5 lakh per annum.
- Verification by the respective institution and state authorities required.
Application Procedure
- Visit the National Scholarship Portal (https://scholarships.gov.in).
- Register as a new user with valid credentials.
- Fill in the application form with all required details.
- Upload necessary documents including photo, ID card, bank passbook, previous year's mark sheet, and income certificate.
- Submit the application and keep a printout for future reference.
