Description
This scholarship supports students who have lost their parents or whose parents died due to COVID-19 or in action. It aims to help them continue their technical education by providing financial aid.
Eligibility
- Students who are orphaned, wards of armed forces personnel, or wards of parents who died due to COVID-19.
- Enrolled in the first or second year of a technical degree course through lateral entry.
- Family income should not exceed Rs. 8 lakh per annum.
- Applications are typically invited annually.
Application Procedure
- Visit the National Scholarship Portal (https://scholarships.gov.in).
- Register as a new user with valid credentials.
- Fill in the application form with all required details.
- Upload necessary documents including photo, ID card, bank passbook, previous year's mark sheet, and income certificate.
- Submit the application and keep a printout for future reference.
